If you are using Darwin operating system then download the setup with extension zip containing darwin name in it. To install Brave browser on macOS, download setup with extension DMG or PKG. If you want to install Brave browser on Debian based distros like Ubuntu, Kubuntu, etc. 
To install Brave browser on Linux based distros like Fedora RedHat, CentOS, etc.
If you want to install Brave browser on Windows then download standalone setup based on your operating system bit i.e. Wait for the download to complete (you may need to click Save in a window that pops up). Click Save in the window that pops up, and wait for the download to complete. Scroll through the page and click on Assets option which will then display list of full setup as in below image.
